How does male sexual functioning work?
Sexual behaviour is a complex psycho-physiological experience and there are many factors involved in healthy sexual functioning.
The male sexual response begins when the man becomes aroused and blood flows into the erectile tissue of the penis, causing the penis to swell and become erect. The male testes will also increase in size and become elevated and the nipples will become erect and sensitive to touch. As excitement increases, there will be a further increase in the size of the glans and the diameter of the penile shaft. With continued stimulation, the man reaches a peak of sexual pleasure when there is dilation of the prostatic urethra and seminal fluid (sperm) flows into the urethra. This is accompanied by an intensely pleasant sensation of impending orgasm, leading to a rhythmic contraction of the perineal muscles and the pelvic reproductive organs, triggering a forceful ejaculation of semen and sexual release, followed by a state of deep relaxation.
What can go wrong?
Sexual dysfunction may take many forms. The most common problems are Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (low sex drive) and Penile Erectile Dysfunction (difficulties in achieving and maintaining an erection). While psychological factors can play a big role in sexual problems, studies have suggested that 20 - 50% of men with erectile dysfunction have some organic base for their problem.
The most common organic causes of sexual dysfunction or a low sex drive are:
Renal or urological
Nutritional (malnutrition, vitamin deficiency)
Pharmacological (alcohol, smoking, recreational and prescription drugs)
Environmental toxins (lead, herbicides)
General systemic health problems
Sexual dysfunction may range from mild (low sex drive, weak erections, lack of energy, slow and weak ejaculation) to severe (total inability to achieve erection and complete lack of sexual desire).
What really helps?
There is a great deal of confusion about what really helps to treat sexual dysfunction. In addition, those men simply wanting to increase sexual desire and performance are literally swamped with e-mails and other marketing gimmicks promising to transform them into sexual dynamos with women simply lining up to meet them!
Here is some information you can trust...
Medical interventions to treat sexual dysfunction include the following:
Penile self injections with vasoactive drugs (to increase blood flow to the penis)
Vacuum constriction devices
Penile prosthetic implants
Medication (vasodilators like Viagra, Vasomax, apomorphine or suppositories)
The Natural Way
When sexual dysfunction is due to factors like spinal cord injury, serious illness or prescription medicine, medical interventions are usually more effective, although natural herbal or homeopathic remedies can definitely help when used in conjunction with modern medicine.
In many cases, however, sexual dysfunction or sluggish sexual responses may be caused by poor systemic health, stress, the build up of toxins and unhealthy lifestyles. In a way, sexual health can be seen as a sort of 'barometer' of overall systemic and psychological health. Men who are healthy, fit and confident about themselves and about life usually report a vigorous and satisfying sex life, no matter what their age.
Practitioners of Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, African herbalists and traditional healers from a wide range of cultures have many centuries of knowledge regarding the use of herbal medicines to treat a wide variety of medical problems and to promote optimum health and functioning. In this respect, certain herbs have been identified as having strong aphrodisiac properties and the ability to improve sexual functioning and overall systemic health.
Recent studies have shown that many of these herbs have the ability to improve peripheral and systemic blood flow and to act as vasodilators, leading to increased blood flow to the penis and erectile tissue and therefore heightened sexual pleasure and performance. In the correct dosage, certain herbs have also been shown to stimulate adrenal glands, improve endocrine and male hormonal functioning, boost stamina and vitality, increase libido and improve the health and functioning of the sexual organs, especially the prostate, penis and urethral systems.

How has Iqawe for Men helped others?
"Thank you thank you thank you thank you! (and another thank you from my girlfriend!)"
- Brent, 31 years old
"Iqawe has really boosted my sex drive as you said it would! My wife used to complain that I was never interested. She said her friends always complained that their husbands wanted too much sex but she hardly got any. Seriously - it was affecting my marriage. After taking Ikawe for 10 days I could already feel the difference. I also have much more energy."
- Derrick S.
"Since I was a teenager I have been very shy and always felt like I couldn't approach women. I finally found a girlfriend, but things were not that great in bed I think because of my lack of confidence. Now I feel much more relaxed and I can enjoy sex like never before. It has made a big difference to my size and I feel proud to be naked with my girlfriend for the first time!"
- Steve MJ.
"I just want to write and say thank you for recommending your Ikawe for Men product. I had premature ejaculation and I could only last a few minutes and then it was all over. Now I have a lot of stamina and my erection is much harder. The best thing is that I can have sex more than once a night for the first time since I was in my early 20's! Ikawe has really made me feel like a young man again, thank you!!"
What are the Ingredients?
Iqawe for Men contains the following potent herbs:
Turnaria aphrodisiaca is a nervous system stimulant which acts as an aphrodisiac and a tonic for the reproductive organs. It is traditionally used to promote energy and increase libido.
Eleutherococcus senticosis (Siberian Ginseng) is an overall system toner and improves performance and stamina. In the 1950's it was used extensively by Soviet athletes to enhance athletic performance. It can combat stress and is a tonic stimulant for the adrenal hormones. One of the most important active ingredients in Siberian or Oriental Ginseng is the ginsenosides, which greatly promote blood flow to the brain and peripherals, including the penis. In oriental medicine, Ginseng is highly respected and prized as a herb which promotes male or 'yang' energy, improving circulation, boosting vitality and acting as an overall systemic invigorator.
Smilax ornata (Sarsaparilla) contains steroidal saparins which are thought to mimic the action of some human hormones. It is used as a tonic for male sexual potency and as a rejuvenating tonic and is thought to assist the production of testosterone and progesterone.
Sabal serrulata is clinically proven to treat the symptoms of prostate enlargement (BPH) and its associated symptoms, including impotence. It has been traditionally used to stimulate low libido and increase sexual energy.
Glycorrhiza glabra originates in the Mediterranean and the Middle East and has many uses, including being a tonic stimulant for the adrenal cortex. It encourages the production of hormones such as hydrocortisone. It is often prescribed to boost adrenal functioning after steroid therapy.
Fucus vesiculosis is a sea vegetable that is a concentrated source of minerals, including iodine, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and iron. As a source of iodine, it assists in the production of of thyroid hormones, which are necessary for maintaining healthy metabolism in all cells of the body.
Lirosma ovata improves sexual desire (libido). Scientific studies have shown that 62% of males using Lirosma ovata daily reported increases in sexual desire after two weeks of therapy. Other clinical studies have suggested that it is effective in alleviating male impotence and erectile dysfunction and may improve sexual performance.
